I was excited to be able to see this iconic landmark.
One cool piece of information I got was that the blinking light on top of the building is actually Morse code. If you watch it, it spells out "Hollywood".
Great sight to see and don't forget to check out the star of all the Beatles out front as well as the amazing mural on the side.
The Capitol Records Building is an iconic structure located in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. It stands at 13 stories tall and is shaped like a stack of vinyl records, making it a distinct landmark in the area.
I’ve not had the chance to go inside this building, tho have passed it so many times!
I’ve worked in the past as a chauffeur of musicians who’ve recorded here, tho out of respect, have been unable to satisfy my curiosity of their activities inside here.
Nonetheless, I do like to show this iconic structure to visitors, as the first circular office building in the world. As if it were built to resemble a stack of records with a needle on top!
A stop at Hollywood and Vine, wouldn’t be complete without seeing this place!
Most appealing to them is the large mural of musicians on the south facing side wall, visible from Vine Street. I don’t have to say a word, as most people recognize at least some of the famous likenesses on that wall!
Impromptu concerts in the parking lot to promote the music! Man I love that! That's still a thing here. Right?
The crew there is fantastic. Very professional and punctual. Calls get routed quickly and correctly. Parking can be a bit tight in the morning. It's best to take a Uber there if you can.
I haven't visited My favorite part of Los Angeles since I took this picture in 2013. I would get lost in Downtown LA daily when I lived In Whittier and would go to USC and other awesome Historic Buildings everyday.
Capitol records building is an iconic LA building and historic city landmark. This is one building that I made sure to visit while in LA and its actually only minutes from Hollywood walk of fame so when you are doing the walk, take a break and check it out.
Full of people around, but a great place.
